Welcome to the Web portal for HR professionals conducting Workplace Drug Testing. The objective of this Web site is to provide information and services for employers. There was widespread introduction of workplace drug and alcohol testing programs in the 1980s in the USA. While there was some negative reaction to the introduction of testing workers for drug use, because it was considered by some people to be a breach of privacy and civil liberties. Interestingly, there was almost no negative reaction to the introduction of alcohol testing. The level of social acceptance of workplace drug testing increased significantly in the 1990s to the point that it's now as routine as alcohol testing.
